    I'm currently having this same issue and can't find anything else about it but this. Everytime I try to sign in it starts loading and then just stops and nothing happens, no error message. Nothing but the option to option to sign in. All that works is exhibition, everything else just starts loading and stops after a few seconds.

    @Kerdyy 

    Can you let me know what Gamertag/PSN ID you play on, platform (ex: PS5), and if you use an external hard drive for your console?

    We should be able to get this fixed for you. Have you tried reinstalling or power cycling the console to see if that helps?

    Reboot the power to the modem/router

    1. Unplug the power cable from your modem/router for 5-10 minutes to refresh the network.

    How to power cycle your Xbox console:

    1. Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button  on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
    2. Unplug the console’s power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

    Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

    1. Plug the console power cable back in.
    2. Press the Xbox button  on your console to turn on the Xbox One.

    How to power cycle your PlayStation console

    1. Touch the power button on the front of the PS4/5 for at least 7 seconds (until the system beeps twice).
    2. Turn it back on after 5 minutes. Launch the game.

    I play on xbox, the gamertag is Memorable Nerd. And I've already tried resetting everything, everything is connected and working but still nothing when I try to sign in.

    No, it goes through loading like it normally does, then takes me to the main menu and has tom brady there instead of my created player and doesn't let me do anything.

    @Kerdyy 

    If it's not loading up your personalized player and it showing Tom Brady that can be network related. Can you try unplugging the modem/router for at least 5 minutes and power cycled the console again? 

    Do you play on a WiFi connection? If so, is it possible to go wired to test and see if you can connect that way?

    Have you tried reinstalling the game?

    I am having the same issue. My gt is dunwoody1604. I’ve tried reinstalling, deleting game files, power resetting my console, my modem, a wired connection. I tried unlinking and delinking my EA account. Nothing is working. It is only Madden that’s having the issue. I can play online on other games.

    If you un-linked a PSN ID or Xbox Gamertag, did you link that one back up to a new EA account by logging into an EA game? If you do that, this should be fixed.

    How would I relink it? When I try to sign in in game it doesn't let me.

    Are you signing into an EA game with the one you removed? It should prompt account creation.

    If not, please contact our Support team at Help.EA.com and they'll be able to pull up your account to confirm which Gamertag/PSN ID you need to sign into.

    There's no sign in request whatsoever at the start. It tries to connect or whatever then doesn't, and everytime I try to sign into an account it just loads and then stops. No error message, no request to sign in with an email. And when I go to the help.ea page I just end up back here after looking through it.

  • and something else to mention, every other ea play game I've downloaded works fine with no issues. Its literally just madden 22 that won't sign me in.

    @Kerdyy 

    For the Gamertag you removed can you use the option to login to Help.EA.com using the Microsoft login and then see if it prompts to link that Gamertag to a new account?

    If it doesn't do it, visit profile.ea.com and go to Connected Accounts to verify you see the Gamertag there. If not, you might be using the incorrect login info for your Microsoft account which is why it's not prompting it. 

    What I advise doing right now is to contact our Support team to verify the ID you removed and check with Microsoft to verify the email address associated with that Gamertag.

    The xbox sign in still signs me into this account, and its saying its still synced in the settings as well. Like I said MLB, NBA, and NHL all work fine with the account. The only game that's not allowing me to sign in is madden for some reason.
