I don't really know how to record a clip and share it. Whenever I throw a pass. Whether bullet, lob, or touch, probably 4 out of every 5 times my receiver jumps for the ball when they don't need to, they can simply just keep running, and make the catch. If he is open it's not as bad, but it's still frustrating because it takes time for him to jump, make the catch, set his feet, then start running, and i usually get tackled right after the catch because apparently jump catches are the only catches that players know how to make. Now when there is coverage and I throw a pass, like almost always he jumps, and every single time there is a jump catch into coverage, the ball comes out by the time my receiver hits the ground. I've even tried to cheat a little bit just to see if I had the same result. I made my receiver's catch ability 99, in traffic 99, and in the sliders put receiver catch at 99. I gave my receiver double me x factor. I can use regular catch, aggressive catch, possession catch, RAC catch and it doesn't matter, my receiver almost always jumps, and not once comes down with it. All of this started with the last update. So it's impossible to throw a bomb and out jump the defender, no matter how good he is. He'll jump, make the catch, but as soon as there is contact the ball comes out. I've also discovered a new one. Probably 3 out of every 5 times I run a streak, when I throw and switch to my receiver, I cannot control him, he'll just keep running straight, well passed where the ball would be. And if I hit the button enough times it will let me turn the direction that I hit, but he'll just keep running in that direction without me being able to control him. I know that things are difficult right now with the quarantine and limited access. The game has many problems, franchise is beyond an afterthought, but MUT got all 32 first round draft picks. I know that it's just frustration, but myself as well as many people that I know do not play online, do not play MUT, and only play offline franchise...because that's what football is. Anf franchise is the unwanted, redheaded stepchild of madden despite the fact that the NFL EA license is for simulation football. MUT, and Superstar KO take up valuable game space that could be used to make franchise the best and premiere mode of the game like it should be.

Community ManagerDoes this still happen if you change your sliders back to default or shift them in the other direction closer to zero? Curious if that has any effect for you both. It can be tough to catch passes if they're lobbed up in the air in traffic, but you mentioned it doesn't matter what type of pass you throw.
Does it do this if you go in practice mode and time your passes differently?
@EA_Blueberry Yes it happens no matter difficultly level, gameplay sliders, receiver ability, or type of pass. Like I've said, at least 4 of 5 times I throw a pass, my receiver jumps for it. If I just run him to the ball he jumps, it i hit Triangle for Agressive Catch he jumps. Now I do understand, that jumping in coverage, you're not going to catch every ball, and I get that, but no matter who my receiver, what his stats and abilities, whether or not his X Factor ability is active, every single time my receiver jumps and a defender makes contact, the ball comes out. So unless a DB blows coverage, it is completely impossible to catch a deep pass. That's the whole point of a tall receiver, good jumping stats, good catch, good catch in traffic, so that you can make those kinds of plays sometimes. It's hard when it's completely impossible to make a catch when my receiver is contacted. Not everytime, but fairly often when he doesn't jump, if there is contact they'll drop the ball. Again, no receiver will catch every pass, but the stars should catch more than they drop. And also having that problem a lot of the time where when I'll throw a deep ball, I can't control my receiver. He just keeps running, and sometimes straight, sometimes veers off well away from where the ball is going to end up. That's good if you like throwing interceptions, but I personally try not to. I know that everyone is working towards Madden 21, and I get it...I would like to be able to play this until 21 comes out, but it's hard when most of my passing game is nullified. There also didn't seem to be an issue rolling out the 1st round draft picks for MUT. No chance us franchise players could get an after draft roster update to tide us over until Madden 21 in August?

There are built in recording capabilities for the Xbox and PlayStation consoles. If you're able to get 5 minute clips to link to me I'd love to see what you're experiencing from your side. I haven't seen other reports of what you're specifically experiencing, so it sounds very isolated. A reinstall to the internal hard drive another time is worth a try to see if that clears up any corrupted game files that could be potentially causing this.
As for another roster update, those are done for the year. The Madden team has never done an off-season/Draft update for franchise because those transactions taking place in the offseason don't reflect the 2019 season. If I want to jump back into Madden 17, I'd want to see the rosters for that season while expecting to see the drafted players in Madden 18 on their respectable teams.
The Community for Madden takes charge on creating those off-season rosters that can be downloaded by Madden Share, too. There are dedicated fans that love creating classic team rosters or draft classes for the Madden Community. It's also a great opportunity for content creators to attract fans to their channels. 🙂- @EA_Blueberry You haven’t seen clips? Lmaoo your full of it. I experience the same problem. How About fixing the problem instead of telling us this is not happening. You guys constantly cheat for the computer. Everything is a drop pass except for the computer who catches everything. On Xbox 1 you can’t play on the right side of the field because your man will stop running or run the opposite way. Both receiver and running back so I have to only make play on the left side of the field. Can’t sack the quarter my man will break off and run the opposite way (not towards the quarter bAck) or if I do get close my man will freeze and won’t further approach the quarter back. I hate madden I sent my copy back to E A Head quarters. Plz stop making games to cheat for the computer. Madden isn’t fun anymore..
