What it did do was make the menus lag a LOT.
Issues that are still unresolved:
Jersey swaps after halftime are still broken.
Older helmets are missing logos (example: the 2000s Carolina Panthers helmet).
These are just a couple of problems that have existed since release.
EA, if you’re going to release a game that millions of people pay full price for, the core game should already be finished. Updates should be for rosters, ratings, tuning, and play-calling — not fixing basic presentation and stability issues months later.
