Does it still work fine on the old TV?
The old TV is gone, but yes it worked fine. There is a manual I can look at on the tv
It sounds like the problem is with the TV. Did that manual say anything about changing the ratio? Most likely, it has a setting that will resolve this.
the thing is it’s only a couple games (including madden) having this problem
I checked the manual, I changed the ratio like the manual said.
Edit: did not fix the problem
Edit 2: it’s ok if it won’t be fixed, I was just wondering if there was a solution.
Are they just EA games having this problem? I really can't think of anything else that would cause this and we're not getting other reports that I'm aware of.
Parts of FIFA 21 was cut off, but it’s not just EA games it’s just a few that I have noticed. It was in NHL 20 but I fixed that because I know how to
Edit: I think it might be since the game was formed to fit that original tv it might of not adjusted but I don’t know why FIFA was doing it because we started it on the new TV
Have you tried a different HDMI cable? Also, which Xbox One do you have?
Have not tried the Cable, don’t know if I have a another one. I have the A Xbox One
Is it an original Xbox One or a One X/S? Do you have another HDMI cable on another device you could try out?

I reported the bug because a support agent told me to. But I am guessing Madden 22 will work fine so I was just wondering if there was a fix.
We're not aware of any bugs that would cause this. We're also not receiving other reports. I'm very sorry. I wish I had more to suggest. This is appearing to be an issue with the TV. Have you tried contacting their support to see if they have any other ideas?
It’s a older tv so they probably won’t have support
You might want to still try a different HDMI cable, but it's possible this is just due to the older model TV you have.
