Screen freezes when game ends and post-game animations are skipped

because it happened to me again after a Solo Battle game: from time to time when I complete a game (e.g. a MUT Solo Challenge or MUT Solo Battle, not sure whether I've seen this in H2H too yet) and skip the post-game animations, the screen freezes showing e.g. the stadium as it was at the end of the animation (or sometimes a distored image if the freeze occurs during a switch of the camera perspective).

SOLUTION:

I faced this bug quite often in Madden 20 and still sometimes in Madden 21 too. I somewhen realised that while the screen freezes, in the background the post-game menu (showing game stats, player stats etc.) correctly loads (but the screen shows this distorted image). for me, it is then possible to select the 'Finish the game' tab by pressing once the 'down' button since the 'Finish the game' button (the bottom left tab) in the menu is below the 'preselected' tab (the tab in the top left corner). pressing 'enter' (since I use the keyboard when playing on PC) then correctly finishes the game and brings me back to the menu again. 

if I did not do it this way, all progress of the game would be lost which is in particular very annoying in Solo Battles.

sometimes, when I pressed the wrong button after the screen has frozen, I have to press the 'back' button once before doing the procedure dscribed above. in this case I selected one of the menus (but not the 'Finish' button) and therefore have to go back to the main 'post-game' menu.
