@EA_BlueberryI have had no other connectivity issues. In fact I played a Legends challenge in between both games to see if it would happen again because I didn't want to get the second DNF. That went fine, so I played the second solo battle, played through completed it and got DNF'd a second time. BTW I'm on PC, if that makes a difference. Frustrating because I should have finished in the top 50. Also, the DNF's occurred in the morning. I waited til the evening to try and complete the last 2 solo battles i had left and those went fine. Although I altered my play to complete them as fast * possible in case length of time was an issue.
@bwsmith33071I guess I know how it feels to face this kind of Solo Battle DNFs. I had 29 DNFs in Madden 20 and close to 20 in Madden 21 already, playing on PC too. A while ago I wrote about my lessons learnt in this forum about how to decrease the frequency of facing DNFs. (although I wrote it in another context, see https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Why-am-I-getting-constantly-DC-GLITCHED-I-CANT-EVEN-PLAY-A-GAME/m-p/9956794#M8684)
Regarding facing DNFs after finishing the Solo Battle, I faced this pattern multiple times. sometimes I realised that my upload speed was zero (for whatever reason) and the game could not upload my result. sometimes it was just due to a (very) short disconnect or desync issue happening at the end of the game. I'm European and I guess that a lot can happen somewhere between my PC and EA's servers. That's really frustrating because I cannot do anything about it.
At least, my steps to reduce short disconnects due to my router/cable/modem seemed to improve my situation regarding disconnects/desyncs. I'm still facing DNFs much too often but I'd estimate that about half of my 20 DNFs this year happened due to a game crash (when playing on my laptop (instead of my PC) and a turnover occurs. I have no idea why the game crashes since I can play any other mode without issues...).
I've gotten used to the fact that I have to expect a DNF at any time. it's still extremely frustrating, but there are more important things in life...
I hope that my lessons learnt will help you to reduce the amount of DNFs. good luck!
EDIT: I'd like to add that I'm able to rank top 10 in Solo Battles (if I do not face a DNF. and no, I do not exploit glitch plays!). at least it comforts me that at least one other player gets to enjoy the top 100 rewards when I invest vast sums in my psychotherapists again because of facing a DNF .... 😉

Appreciate the input. I can verify that the connection on my end is good. I had issues last year when I started working at home during quarantine when I started stressing my modem/router and stability did become an issue. Because of that, it prompted me to rewire everything (including running RG11 cable from the comcast connection outside right to my router) and change out my modem and router. And my PC is always a direct ethernet connection, I never game on WiFi. I've had the occasional DNF before likely due to the other things you mentioned. However, it was very odd that I had 2 in a row on Solo Battles Sunday morning after there had been issues a day or 2 beforehand that I saw on the Madden direct twitter feed.

Would you be able to run a UO Trace for me from the tool that can be downloaded via the link and either post it here (the first 2 lines will show your IP Address so I recommend blocking that out) or direct message the results to me?
I want to see how your connection is reaching our servers to identify if there are any sites out of your control that is leading to a disconnect. Thanks!Connection Troubleshooting

Just had some time to run them. If it matters it was done between 5-6 EST, high traffic time here (not just on the roads!). Results attached.
