@EA_BlueberryI'm honestly at a loss at this point. I was just finishing up my last game from Monday's round of solo battles, and my game locked up at halftime. Its very similar to the Charles Woodson glitch, except I was on offense running the ball with Derrick Henry to run out the clock in the first half. The game froze on the halftime transition screen just panning around showing different angles of the stadium. Solo Battles isn't even remotely fun anymore. Its just a giant paranoia fest where you spend 15 hours of your week praying to God that the dev team didn't break something over the weekend, because if they did it is 500k coins flushed down the drain. I was really looking forward to saving up to buy that new Isaiah Simmons card, but I guess that isn't happening because the devs are so freaking incompetent that tying their own shoelaces is tantamount to splitting the atom. And the lack of transparency is incredible. Test something out for me, if you're a mod and you're reading this: Make up an issue with the game (maybe one that you've seen from this thread) and create an anonymous twitter account/EA help account/whatever. Try to get that problem solved and let us know how long it takes. See how many tweets you have to send to get a response. See how many times you have to contact the mouth breathers that make up the EA help team before you get a satisfactory answer. Then, make up a problem about how you can't "buy points" or it won't let you buy a pack from the store and see how long it takes to get that issue solved. Its an absolute joke.
I've oscillated between quiet frustration, polite disagreement, and mild criticism in this thread. At this point, I'm freaking livid. Your people are telling all of us to open wide, as they defecate this nonsense of a game down our throat, and we're all happy as can be to swallow it up because your company owns the license for simulation football, which is hilarious in and of itself. I'm not saying that the dev team isn't trying, I'm sure they are doing their best. But its quite apparent that they aren't up to the task. A good BILLION dollar company that had seen 40% growth YTD would actually help the devs by hiring new qualified people to help solve the issue. A good billion dollar company would make sure that the people being affected were kept apprised of the situation AS OFTEN AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE through any and all social media outlets. But hey, at least I can pony up all those sweet sweet Benjamins for a chance to get Randy Moss tomorrow! The MUT twitter made damn sure to let me know about that!
@EA_Blueberry it just happened again to me. This is now three consecutive weeks. Apparently the issue is happening across all platforms.
I am currently actually still in the Solo battles menu after completing my 12th game. My 13th game is unchecked, but when I try to play it I get "PENDING GAME RESULTS. This event is not available" with "ok" being the only option.
This is the same experience I had last week. If I leave the Solo Battles menu, it will act as if I played all 13 games and no longer give me the option to play games--just view my status on the leaderboards.
I would hope that EA has the ability to troubleshoot this issue, as people have been reporting it since Solo Battles launched. However, to aid the troubleshooting process (if there even is any... it really feels like EA doesn't care at all) is it possible that this is triggered by an item on the auction house selling while you're in the game? I believe that each time I've received this error, I have had an item sell during the solo battle. This typically just results in the game's score screen being messed up and showing all zeroes--but maybe if it happens during the 12th game, it causes this problem.

I took a look at the top 100 leaderboard (on PC) for several weeks now. in the top 100 list are about 4-5 players who only finished 12 Solo Battle games. I assume that all these players faced one DNF. if they had finished their 13th game, they would have ranked top 10 (e.g. it was 2 last week, incl. @midgman8421 for instance) or at least top 25.
summarising, 5 would have made the top 25 without this bug. if i now assume that the percentage of players who experience a DNF is similar no matter how many points they score, then that would mean that around 20% of players are affected by this bug week after week. if conservatively estimated only half would be affected, then still 1 in 10 is affected by a DNF.so it's definitely a problem that can be safely ignored for months without decreasing customer satisfaction....

if I were in charge, in a game that is so prone to bugs and disconnects, I would never, ever offer a mode that goes on for a week. I would much rather see two new opponents every day: one extremely strong and one moderately strong. the goal is just to win. the higher the skill score, the higher the reward in coins should be. if you win the game, you should win a pack: with the difficult opponent, either a Redzone Pack, or (with low probability) a TD Pack; with the mediocre opponent, either a Hail Mary Pack, or (again, with low probability) a Midfield Pack.
I would also like the game to be repeatable. it doesn't matter if there is a leaderboard or not (which is the main reason why Solo Battle games are not repeatable), if the leaderboard mainly depends on whether you experience a DNF or not anyway....
if it absolutely needs a leaderboard, then I would randomly draw 2-3 players from the daily best skill scores and announce the winners in Good Morning Madden. so, instead of these pointless chat posts, dump trucks etc. could be awarded based on an 'achievment'. maybe one could add a higher probability depending on your top score. the better you played, the higher the likelihood that you are chosen...

I was locked out from completing my 13th game this week. This is randomly the second week this year of being locked out and therefore not being able to complete the 13 games of Solo Battles. As a top 100 player this 1 game missed costs me roughly 200k of coins. This is clearly not just an issue for me but a global issue on both console's that needs an escalation in addressing. Without a proper resolution this is a breach of contract. Please do your jobs and figure this out.

I have had the same issue off and on all year this madden. I went to next gen and hadn’t had an issue with this till this past weekend when I was slated for a top 10 finish. This happened right after they updated the Max AP to 12. I could tell something was different at it was no longer breaking down my solo battle score after the end of each game

@EA_BlueberryHowdy, are we now talking about Solo Battles after 1-7-21 title update? If so, it looks like we are already in weekly scoreboard review. I needed to play game 9 prior to tomorrow (Friday update). Battle score also reset to 0. Looks like game 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 will not be accessible. This is definitely an issue...

regarding the second issue, the weekly score has been reset too late and the scores of the first games (when played before the belated reset) have been added to last week's score. in the background, they should be tracked correctly and the weekly rewards will be based on the correct scores (see here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Solo-Battle-Score-has-not-been-reset/m-p/9923714#M7640) - 5 years ago@Neo_Novalis Howdy. Issue resolved. This morning I did see the franchise mode not working; also when getting into Solo battle 'went directly to the review screen for weekly tabulation. 'just read through EAMaddenNFL on Twitter that solo's were just 'ungated'.
Solo Battles have been ungated.
Online Franchise modes are still currently gated.

And for the second week in a row after you chuckleheads "fixed" solo battles, I get locked out of the 13th game and most likely miss out on top 100 rewards in solo battles. Never had the problem before, even when getting a DNF. Fantastic fix EA.
- Neo_Novalis5 years agoHero+@Moopert ☹️ I'm not sure whether it really works as a workaround (or whether I was just lucky): I had this issue twice a few weeks ago. since then I avoid playing too many Solo Battle games in a row and restart the game before starting a new game. I've read that another player had the same impression.
I hope this works for you too, at least untill there is a real solution.

Man I really hope that they are correctly tracking the SB leaderboards this week. I just have this horrible feeling that I'm gonna wake up expecting top 10 or 25 rewards, but I'm gonna end up with legend tier or something. I hope I'm wrong.

Sorry for the late reply, but the score not showing up is a known issue the team is aware of. Thankfully, it's only a visual error and the score you're accumulating is still counting on the back-end for your account.
We're concerned about the 13th game now not showing up for players since the scheduled fix in the title update that happened recently. We're getting a look into this and I'll update you all as soon as possible. As always, we appreciate your help and willingness to stop in the forums to champion for the Madden Community.
For those not receiving the 13th game since the title update that scheduled to fix it we'll need the following:- Gamertag/PSN ID/Origin ID (PC)
- Were you able to get the 13th game since the last fix and now no longer getting it, or have you never been able to play the 13th game since the fix?

Lol I'm a genius apparently... woke up this morning and what did I find?: Legend rewards. I just knew that the wrong rewards were going to go out.

I play my 12th game, go to play my 13th and it disappears. The patch deployed a few weeks ago apparently did not take. Please look into this

Again please look into this and if possible have some sort of make good. Through out my time with Madden 21 this glitch has cost me over 4M coins. And a glitch that has nothing to do with my gameplay or any form of exploitation/cheating. This is by all appearances a coding issue for a game mode that is either broken or poorly created. This week I was on pace for a top 10 finish and now I will most likely miss the top 100 all together.
Solo battles are what I primarily play in Ultimate Team and so when I invest the time to play 12-13 games, my expectation is that it works and I am properly rewarded for my time and effort. Taking the time commitment out of the equation, looking at the difference between a top 10 finish and the Legend rank, there is a difference of about 450K coins. By the MUT store coin to points conversion and ratios, that 450K coins comes out to ~$80 worth of in game content. That is ~$80 of content for 1 week. Scale that up to the 4M coins that I have missed out on since the start of Madden 21 because of this glitch, and we get closer to over $700. Hopefully putting this issue into real world terms and dollars can help explain why it is so frustrating when the game does not work correctly.
I am attaching an image that shows I am only at 12 of 12 games played but that there is not a tab to play the 13th game.
- Neo_Novalis5 years agoHero+@hags412 Fully agree! I could not say it better! This mode is so frustrating since you are so heavily dependent on factors one cannot control (DNFs, but bugs too). 29DNFs had cost me about 9 million coins ...

Thank you for the information and I can confirm the team has resumed investigating this after seeing more reports of the 13th game not showing up. A player over Twitter mentioned they're able to see the 13th game if they immediately play it after the 12th game. Once you play the 12th game and back out of the game (or shut down the console and restart it) that causes it to disappear. Hope that helps you all access the 13th game while the team is working on addressing this.

Something I feel I am struggling with though is that it appears to be 0 urgency or consideration for this problem. This has been going on for months and has happened to me multiple times now. And each time I use the help communication I get the same responses, "we know it is an issue", "we are looking in to it", "we are are deploying a fix in the coming weeks" and so forth. None of them are really actionable or attempt to counteract the error. It is more of a "better luck next week". That is the frustrating part.
I appreciate the Twitter note but how is it that Twitter has better solutions than the official help forum? And it is not even a fix, it is a work around for a broken product. That would be like buying a bucket that has a defective hole in the bottom and the manufactor telling you to go buy duck tape to put over the hole. It doesn't address the issue of the defective product and requires more of the consumer while the manufactor/producer claims no responsibility.
If a new pack goes out and a promo card is not included in the draw pool you offer make goods to any player that purchased a pack and grant them additional packs with the player included in the pool. If the leader boards for solo battles are off and players are playing extra games you delay the deployment of rewards and recalculate off of the correct number of games. So you have a history of make goods and correcting solo battles, so I guess I don't see how this issue isn't being met with any sort of make good or attempt to even the competitive field. Again just frustrating and after writing all of this, disappointing.

I completely agree with the last reply. There is no urgency for this matter as the issue continues to happen. On an unrelated note, I just received a DNF for the Ravens team named Kenny_savv43 on the PS4 batch of Solo Battles. Luckily, this was only my second game for the week, so I only wasted 2 hours of my time due to your company's continual incompetence. HOORAY for me I guess! I have been top 4 for the past month or two on PS4. I suppose my PSN ID of Brande-monium serves as a solid pun for the chaos that emanates weekly from a once beloved Solo Battles mode.
I am FINALLY at my breaking point with this game and the false hope that continues to be spewed throughout these forums. I will not continue to waste my time on a product that continues to steal from its customers. Your business practices are asinine, your team FAILS to take responsibility for their numerous faults, and because of that you will continue to lose customers that have been loyal to your franchise for years. I have been asking for months to make this right with your customers that have lost millions of coins due to your faulty programming. This will now be upwards of 1.5 million coins that have been wrongfully taken from my account due to issues we have told you about since OCTOBER!
As a Raiders fan, disappointment is nothing new to me. Unfortunately, I can no longer call this disappointment as your team continues to devalue the time I put into your product. Your practices are downright despicable.These next few questions are not directed at you @EA_Blueberry . You seem like a good dude that happens to take the brunt of the criticism for a team that is lacking in numerous departments. So, please, pass these along to the nincompoops that hide behind their fancy titles. When will your team take some pride in their work? When will these constant errors be resolved? Where can I sign up to work at a place that allows me to fail as much as you guys do? Where can I get some of those cookie-cutter responses that your team specializes in?
This is the earliest I have ever contemplated quitting Madden. It's about time I stop supporting a company that steals from its customers. You guys desperately need competition as the quality of your work is absolutely atrocious.

This has happened 3-4 times now (every time I have tried to play all games). This last time, after I finished the 12th game, I got a message saying something to the effect of "event unavailable, rewards pending review". Selecting the 13th game, I get the same message, and am then awarded 25 coins for some reason. If I then exit out of Solo Battles and go back in, the tab showing available games is not even there - all I can see is the "My Rank" and "Top 100" tabs.
