[SOLUTION]"There is a problem with your games setup. Please reinstall your Game"

When I try to open the game it says "There is a problem with your games setup. Please reinstall your game" I have already reinstalled the game once and nothing changed

    @SF_UsDarkmanx Does everyone in this thread have an NVIDIA GTX 1070 or use dual displays (Gsync?) Looking for a common thread.

    dual displays but freesync not gsync. running 2060super too. its whatever was in their patch today because the game worked fine this morning, patched when i logged in a bit ago and started throwing the error.

    I'm just running a single screen on my laptop. It definitely looks to be the patch that broke it.

    I also was using a single screen with my Laptop during and after the update.

    THe patch itself seems to be the cause of the problem.

    I got the same message so I'm now reinstalling the game, really hope it helps.

    @nfceast2002 fair warning that it probably won't help. I've reinstalled, repaired, and checked for an update. All of these return the same broken pop-up.

    I did reach out to the dev Twitter account to try and get this some attention tho.

    @Emily05sb Thanks Emily. Crazy that the patch breaks the game. How many people are affected that don't take the time to find these boards! 100:1? 1000:1?

    @abchurch Would be nice to at least have someone pop on this thread to let us know that they acknowledge the issue. Time to play something else.
