Something Went Wrong With This Game or APP Madden 21 PS5

@CoreyGunz88 ☹️ I do not have a PS, so my suggestions are most likely shots in the dark, but I would like to share some approaches I've read in this forum how to solve different issues.
1) power cycle: I've read that power cycling your device might solve issues related to the connI've read that power cycling your device might solve issues regarding the connection to EA servers. if your issue opening franchise mode is due to a desync error, maybe it is worth a try? but frankly, this suggestion is a suggestion that comes more or less first with every problem. so I'm therefore not sure, whether this suggestion is helpful at all.. anyways, how to do a power cycle (taken from a post by EA_Aljo): >>> unplug your modem, router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem and router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. <<<
2) clearing the cache: I recently cleared the cache on my PC and it solved an issue for me. since the game saves some information in the cache to speed up loading times, maybe the crash saved something incomplete (or corrupted) there and therefore you cannot start the franchise again? how to do it, I found the following link: How to clear cache on PS5 | Dot Esports
3) contacting EA Help: in principle, EA Help can track your account. hopefully they might be able to identify and help you solving the issue (see contact details below). in particular, if a file of your saved franchises is corrupted, maybe they are able to restore the file.
