Sons account wont connect MUT
my sons account which in a family member PSN account and has his own ea account wont connect on MADDEN 21 was never an issue with any other madden. Anyone know how I can fix it?

is the issue just with mut? or all online modes? what error message are you getting?
All online content, it won't even update the roster MUT 20 works fine just Madden 21. ATTENTION In order to access online features for this title your account on playstation network must be signed in and you must be signed in to the EA Servers.
I am having this exact same problem with my son's account. I just spent an hour in chat with tech support, only to come up empty: to wit, "Having access to MUT 20 doesn't necessarily mean that you will get access to MUT 21."
This makes no sense. Also, Madden 20 still works fine.
I have checked the internet connection, signed in and out of PSN, rebooted the PS4, made sure the latest game and system updates are installed, AND attempted to remove all age restrictions from his PS account just to try and get it working. Does anyone have any other ideas?
Same. I contact EA and they said everything with his account was good and its something with Playstation. However I can't get in touch with anyone there
this has been happening to people for the last several days, EA knows about it, but whether they will do anything to fix it is unclear. I cant play MUT either, and many others have reported the same problem. nobody has actually gotten a helpful response from EA as far as i know

Is there anyone that has an answer to this issue? I too just recently bought through PSN madden 21 for my underage son to play. On his profile however, it won't load any of the multiplayer online functions such as MUT, and says "ATTENTION In order to access online features for this title your account on playstation network must be signed in and you must be signed in to the EA Servers". When I load the game from my PSN profile it works just fine, presumably b/c its connecting to my profile for EA but I don't play anymore. This did not happen with Madden 20, which happens to be a disc version of the game. Is this an issue disc vs online download or is madden 21 just broken?
I chatted both EA and Playstation support and got zero help, pointing fingers at each other. Bottom line is we paid for a game for my son that does not allow him to access all the features we paid for...AND I should not need to have him play it through my profile. It completely defeats the whole point of having family accounts and allow parents to control what their children play.
