Sound is stuttering

The sound is stuttering while I play a game. I have the recommended system. The game runs smooth, new drivers. What to do?

Somewhere i saw that i should change the sample rate but I cant. I have earplugs through my monitor. And the sound comes through my card gtx 1060 3g, through displayport.

Please help!

I found a solution that fixed the stutter for me. Under Graphics in the settings is the option "FRAME RATE". it was set to "AUTO", when i switched that to "NO LIMIT ON FPS", the stutter was gone.

@mqualls2Found a light program 'Prio' that is able to save the priority setting if that helps 🙂

thanks prio is just what i needed. i will run all my games on realtime now.

@mqualls2No, no, no! You don't want to run all of your games in realtime. You're going to kill your GPU doing that.

I have a GeForce card, and was able to fix all my stuttering and audio issues without touching Task Manager, or any in-game settings. In GeForce Experience, I needed to "optimize" the game.
