Stuck on "Searching for Opponent" in MUT H2H

Every single time I try to play H2H, it goes to the searching for opponent screen and eventually kicks me back to the online seasons menu. I have tried everything: un-installed, re-installed, cycled power multiple times (my internet is not an issue at all). I'm really hoping someone can help me out, I haven't been able to play a single game online, (which is why I bought the game) and I'm heavily leaning towards getting a refund if I can't get this resolved. I'm on XB1 if it makes a difference, have the physical copy as well.

    well guys, I know you're sick of having this problem, I've dealt with it for several weeks. but this is what I did yesterday, and since I did, its been working without any issues. no guarantee it will work for YOU, but I feel your pain and want to help. so try this; take your game out of the console, and completely shut it down, hold power button for 7 sec or so. unplug EVERYTHING, power cord, ethernet cable, router, modem, whatever u have, unplug it. I waited bout 10 min then plugged everything back in, wait til your signed back in to Xbox live and reinsert your game. from there I went straight to MUT and had no issue. takes me like 35 sec in searching for opponent. really hope it helps

    Solved it! Go to settings... unconnect internet...wait 20s reconnect...go to setup an setup what ever connection u had to the internet.. restart the game...go to ultimate teams an play a game👍

    JUST RESTART YOUR XBOX AND IT SHOULD WORK IMMEDIATELY!! GO TO SETTINGS- RESTART XBOX

    @mpelletier90 I know this is a real solution but the only way I get my game to work on ps4 btw is to literally back out of searching for oppent on h2h then go right back to it , at some point it will pop up people searching and online . Hope it helps guys , E A please get your crap together apple spend millions on your games the least you cam do is help with a stupid game js ...

    Every time I go to login to Madden 17, I receive a message saying “The EA Servers are not available at this time.” I restarted my game and Xbox, neither of which have worked. I checked Reddit, nothing there. I checked downdetector to see if there was anything on there, still nothing. I came here trying to figure out why the servers are being difficult. I’m on Xbox One btw.

    I am going to close out this discussion since it's from 2015. If you're stuck on searching for opponent please try power cycling your console and router. 

    If you are still having trouble with this please create a new post and let us know what platform you play the game on (Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PC).

    Reboot the power to the modem/router

    1. Unplug the power cable from your modem/router for 5-10 minutes to refresh the network.

    How to power cycle your Xbox console:

    1. Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button  on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
    2. Unplug the console’s power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

    Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

    1. Plug the console power cable back in.
    2. Press the Xbox button  on your console to turn on the Xbox One.

    How to power cycle your PlayStation console

    1. Touch the power button on the front of the PS4 for at least 7 seconds (until the system beeps twice).
    2. Turn it back on after 1 minute. Launch the game.
