So what do you expect us to do? This quickly went from an "I want to help you ASAP!" situation to a "This probably won't get fixed, but if a fix presents itself we'll do it" situation. I don't understand how EA has somehow given up a major issue. What do you suggest we do? Thank you in advance, I hope you can respond to this understanding that we just want to play this game without workarounds or computer setting changes.
This is really horrendous. I've bought the game just recently and can't play because of all the stuttering, freezes and lagging sound. It was foolish of me to believe that EA had a reasonable refund policy. It seems that now I'm stuck with this brown delicacy and can't refund it, alas

I think it’s about time we all agreed that EA never had any intention of fixing this. They knew they wouldn’t lose any money by leaving it the way it is because we already bought the game. Their absurd refund policy prevents us from being able to do anything about it because they led us on until the warranty period was LONG over. They didn’t stand to lose much in their “Ultimate Moneymaker” because the pc pool is so small compared to console. Simply put, EA made a business decision months ago and buried this then. It’s quite impossible to think a company of that size couldn’t fix this by now. EA has been selling flawed product for years, hopefully one day it’ll catch up to them.

I believe this is accurate. If you look at Red Dead 2, I believe they encountered the exact same problem (inexplicable stuttering that seemed to hit 4 core CPUs specifically). Only difference is Rockstar released a temp workaround within a week and a real fix within a month, as opposed to EA that just lied about looking into it for entire life of the product.
