Suggestions for the Developers

I suggest that the developers implement a rule that states: in the instance resulting in a "connection to your peer has been lost" notification; a loss would be credited to the account that dropped the connection and a win credit awarded to the opposing side. 

My reasons for this are as follows.

I believe the majority of these instances are results of poor sportsmanship. I'm guilty of it as well. 

Implementing this rule or one similar will mitigate this repetitive and annoying occurrence. 

Deployment of such a rule will help the developers identify "actual" connection issues vs. people shutting down their consoles to avoid selecting the "concede defeat" option.
