you CAN CHANGE YOUR TEAM CAPTAIN!. go to Sets - Exchange - Players - Team Captain Exchange. REMOVE ALL UPGRADES TO YOUR T. Captain FIRST.
in the set add your T.C. and 1 gold token and you can select a New Team Captain.
