The game caps your yardage, if you go too high.

Out of curiosity, why does EA have a cap on how many yards you are allowed to get in a single game? I wanted to see how many yards I could get, in a 15 min game, and it turns out that my team had waaaaaaay more yards than the players who actually got the yards were given credit for.

For example: my team had 1,486 yards rushing. Well, I only ran the ball with 1 player, the entire game. That player only ended up with 1023 yards rushing. Meaning over 400 yards didn’t even count for that player, but did for the team.

Any reason why they would not allow us to actually have fun and see what we can do? Why not count the yards? What does it hurt?

Just curious.

I have attached photos for proof of EA cap on yardage.

*EDIT*

I also just realized that they only allow a RB to have 8,191 yards and 127 rushing TDS, in a single season for season stats. Yep...I know...those numbers make no sense. But, my guy has 9,719 yards and 152 TDs (according to career stats...) and the game completely stopped counting the yards and TDs, in the statistics for season stats. Makes zero sense. Lol. I have attached pictures for that as well. (as you can see...the amount of carries is the same, but yards and TDs are way off)
