Was hoping someone had some clarity on this issue. I can play madden with 0% issues on 90% of the game. When i go to play the yard, even though i'm getting 150 to 200 FPS is sooo slow and laggy. Looks like its skipping frames and everything is in slow motion. Its so unplayable and I truly wanted to play the yard. I reached to EA and they stated to do a clean boot of the PC and that only impacted other areas of my PC....unfortunate but may have to refund it if cant get this fix.

I always keep my drivers up to date. Yes i have the newest version. Still persists on the yard ONLY.

For anyone else who might stumble across this. For me the problem is only apparent when I play at 4K on my tv. If I bump the resolution down to 1440p or 1080p then the game plays fine. It’s also NOT, and I repeat NOT because my computer can’t run the game at 4K because it can handle every other game mode fine at 4K. So if you guys have your displays set to 4K and are experiencing a slow mo issue in the yard, with a good frame rate and every other game mode works fine, try turning down the resolution until EA acknowledges this and patches it

This same issue for me. With a Amazing pc. Rtx 2080 s i7 9700k 16 gb ram and game installed on an m.2. Stop acting like this isnt a problem on yalls end. FIX IT. This game is so full of bugs it is fraudulent to have released it and made people pay full price. Stop making people think its their pc and fix your game.

ITs weird. SO the entire game runs great at 144 fps. I select the Yard and its fine all the way until you click vs cpu. AS SOON as i click that it slows down and becomes so laggy that i have to click 3 or 4 times to select anything. This persists through the entire first game and its unplayable. SO it is something that has to do with that game mode. Ive tried everything. Locking frames, lowering quality, changing direct x, reinstalling etc. Ive seen alot of people with the same issue. Any idea when we can expect a fix?

it is in no way a freezing issue. no that doesnt work. Ive tried EVERY SINGLE graphics combo imaginable.....1000s of others have this issue too. Its not a freezing issue....Have you listened to us at all? Its the game engine, it slows down to 10 fps or lower evey time you select the first mission. The only game mode that does this so that indicated game side issue. The devs have yet to acknowledge its existence.

Summarize your bug Every time i press play on the yard mode my game install glitches/slow downs they the entire cut scene and game play making it unplayable and since it was the only game mode i was looking forward to the games a big disappointment

What happens when the bug occurs? game glitch the whole time after going into the yard game mode but as soon as you back out and go into a different game mode like ultimate team its fine again

Really hope this gets solved. just want to get back to grinding The Yard. all my drivers are up to date and the DxDiag didnt need to fix anything and said everything was fine. i just dont know.....

No, no improvements, my drivers are up to date but always the same slow motion mode in the yard. Very sad, I bought this game particularly for this mode...

Same problem Happening with me. I really want to play the yard but the game just becomes unplayable once I go past the yard menu.

@shinsumokito It's possible that your game is running off your INTEL card instead of your Nvidia card. Try going to the Nvidia control panel and set to have Origin and Madden NFL 21 run off it.

If you have the GeForce Experience tool you can also try optimizing Madden NFL 21 through there which can help fix stuttering in games.
