For normal online play I think the teams should be balanced. If they were not then fans of the lower end teams would never win a game and have to use teams they don't like. If you always want to play with your favorite team but it is impossible to win with them would you enjoy the game? Even a pro madden player playing with a sucky team vs a noob with a high end team would probably lose most games.
id still enjoy game bcuz itll be my team the one i cheer for every sunday minus fantasy team of course lol
