For normal online play I think the teams should be balanced. If they were not then fans of the lower end teams would never win a game and have to use teams they don't like. If you always want to play with your favorite team but it is impossible to win with them would you enjoy the game? Even a pro madden player playing with a sucky team vs a noob with a high end team would probably lose most games.
I always have to just settle because everyone wants to play with power teams. It takes forever to actually find a fair matchup. Then people will do dumb stuff like put Jamal Charles as wr and run 5 wideouts the entire game running drags... Yeah that happened. How is that a game of anything?? It's the same play over and over and over. Idk how anyone in the NFL would fall for the same play 15 times in a game. They give out 99s to easily and make everyone have blazing speed and incapable of fumbling or being tackled behind the line.
