"Touch pass" ?

Does it exist in M21?  How to perform it pls?

    @DJ_Englishman the touch pass is triggered with the same key as the lob or bullett pass. it depends on the length of touching the key. very short => lob, very long => bullett, in between => touch pass.

    from my experience, it needs some practice to be able to exactly control what type of pass you want to trigger. I'd also guess that it depends on the controller you use. for me, for instance, it is quite difficult to do a lob (but also a touch pass) since I play with my keyboard (on PC) and since the keys I have to press the key a bit longer (as I'd have to do using another controller), if I want to trigger a lob, most likely it becomes a touch pass, and a touch pass becomes a bullet. it is even more difficult for me in online H2H because the timing strongly varies for me...

    just try a bit in practice mode, or easy MUT Solo Challenges to find the correct timing.

    I have repeatedly practiced the touch pass mechanic and while practicing I have no issues after a few warm-up attempts but once I get in a game I just cannot seem to execute the touch pass. 

    I know it's my own personal limitation but I prefer they return to hold for bullet, tap for lob and double tap for touch pass - or at least give the option to change.

    Until then it's bullets and lobs all the time for me

    @PaulieV31 agree, it would be nice to have a chance to modify at least how long you have to press the button to trigger lob, touch or bullet passes...

    @PaulieV31 @Neo_Novalis Thanks both, I asked having changed QB this week for some variety and I could not do it, try as I might. I believed it was the inbetween duration press, but no, it doesn't want to happen for these old fingers on my pc gamepad. 👴 I thought perhaps it had been removed from the game, obviously not, so I will persist for those short over the D-line passes.

    Double-tap for the pump fake would have to become some other command, and after the QB slide double-tap mid-season trial, I think it's best left as is until M22! One to raise on MaddenVoice next time it opens though and see how many votes it gets @PaulieV31 ?

    I so rarely use pump fake that I completely forgot that's why they changed the touch pass mechanic.  From a logical perspective the double-tap for a pump fake makes sense but I wonder how often it is used in game and how effective it is.  

    Admittedly my Madden skills are novice at best but I would absolutely trade pump fake for a reliable touch pass 100 out 100 times

    Changing the QB slide mid-game was a bit of adjustment and I agree that, if the change is made to the touch pass, it should be in next year's game

    I'll definitely bring it up on Madden Voice after the next title update
