Two Player Game- cannot snap ball

I had this issue in Madden 20 and Madden 21...in a two player game, player 2 cannot snap the ball on offense, and cannot control the players on defense.  Player 2 can select plays.  I reset my PS4 to factory settings; no fix.

    Which game mode are you seeing this happening in, or does it happen any time you're playing with two players?

    Hello, this happens in any two player game.  I am trying to play a regular exhibition game with my Son.  Again, this has happened in 20 and 21.  I tried resetting the controllers; I tried to restore custom PS4 settings.

    I am having the same issue on Xbox One for the second year in a row. I cannot snap the ball in any game mode. Madden is the only game I’ve ever had an issue with and unfortunately am going to be done with the game If this isn’t worked out soon.

    Thanks for the updates!

    I remember seeing some reports of this happening in Madden 20, but it often turned out to be an issue with the controller. Can you test this with another controller to see if the same problem still happens?
