Unable to load up Madden on EA Play First Play Trial - Stuck on loading screen

Every time I load up madden 21 ea access, The loading bar to get into the game freezes and my screen darkens. I tried redownloading the game still won’t work I have wasted 30 minutes of the ten hours...

    The full game is now LIVE on EA Play! If you do not see it available to download, please try power cycling your console and re-open the EA Play App to see it listed under The Vault.

@EA_Kent I am playing on PC. I managed to go in once and play through face of the franchise mode for a bit. Now it won't go past the "Press button to start" screen. It just gets stuck forever.

Thanks for the updates!

When you've got a chance can you try running through some troubleshooting to see if that helps at all? I'd recommend starting off with the basic connection steps from over at the EA Help website. Those can take care of a lot of the most common issues we see, but if you're still having some trouble afterward check out the platform-specific steps as well: 

- PlayStation 4

- Xbox One

- PC

    Kent my man, no good. I constantly get stuck on the "Showtime!" portion of the loading bar. Am now 3 hours into my 10 hour free trial and haven't made it past the loading screen.

      @0zzistar Same issue here. Support was no help either. Lost a solid hour or two of trial time looking at a loading screen over the last couple days.

      Anyone have any luck fixing it?

        Same here...Ea is trying some type of scam to trick ppl into buying before trial is over...Was about to buy at end of trial  But now i have decided against it. removing ea play as well

        Stuck on loading screen and now it also says ea servers down

      I have managed to breach the loading screen about 3 times now, only to be a met with a new challenge. Nothing in the main menu works. I can't open any game modes, not even the settings. Selecting anything changes the background colour and that's it. This is honestly deplorable.

    Are you stuck at the loading screen or unable to select any game modes at the menu:unable yo select anygamemode.

    Ive this bug for over a month and u can't fix it?

    Hey Kent, I'm having a problem it says I bought Madden 21 to the Ps4 and Ps5 and I just got the free trial that you guys had and now its saying EA play trial and "Thank you for trying Madden NFL 21. Your signed in account requires an active EA play subscription. Please purchase EA play and try again”. What's going on with my account?
