I'm not sure if you are launching the game from the home screen, if so try launching it from My Games & Apps after one more power cycle with these steps below.
I've seen cases where changing the DNS can fix this. Under your Xbox Settings there is an option to enter DNS under Network Settings. Can you try changing to Google and let me know if it helps?
Primary is 8.8.8.8 and secondary is 8.8.4.4.

I'm passing along the account details for those impacted but want to give it one last go to see if we can get you into the game this way.
Reboot the power to the modem/router
- Unplug the power cable from your modem/router for 5-10 minutes to refresh the network.
How to power cycle your Xbox console:
- Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
- Unplug the console’s power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
- Plug the console power cable back in.
- Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox One.
Clear Mac Address
- Clear the MAC Address: From the Xbox dashboard select Settings>All Settings>Network>Network Settings>Advanced Settings>Alternate MAC address>Clear, then restart your Xbox.

I tried running the Madden 21 Trial on PC. I am using the Origin app, I have the EA Play Subscription and I also have no issues running Madden 20. I get two errors at the loading screen. The first is the "unable to connect to EA servers" error and the second is the "you are blocked from accessing onine features" error (Same error as in the screenshot posted above by the previous poster). I have to Alt-Tab out to Task Manager and manually close the Madden process in order to exit the game, since it won't load to the Main Menu. Also, despite never getting to the Main Menu, it is telling me while the game is loading that I only have 9 hours of gameplay left. I guess it is counting the times I've been stuck at the loading screen as "game time" lol. It would be great if this issue could get fixed and if I could get back to 10 hours of game time since I've yet to even browse the Main Menu for a single minute.
- 5 years ago@jgofframs Exactly the same bro, I swear i just open to check and close madden for like 2 minutes now it eats up almost 5 to 6 minutes each time of the trial.
- 5 years ago@HagTaz83 Yeah this issue needs to be resolve fast, a lot of people payed to try out the game but never got their money worth plus they can't wait more than 1 month. I'd suggest those who come to this thread who has the same problem to stop opening their game until there's a reply with a sure solution to this.

@EA_Kent this is atrocious. Look how many people are affected by this bug and you turn a cold shoulder on fixing this since October? Ridiculous.
I'm playing ea play trial on PS5. Same problem as most people that it says ea servers can't be connected, although I can play any other EA game or literally any game online and have 1000 mbps down/1000 mbps up connection.
PLEASE FIX. I have been a loyal EA support but I won't continue to support a company like this if you can't fix an issue affected thousands of customers...
