@EA_Blueberry I uninstalled and reinstalled Origin and it worked. I'm finally able to play the game at its full capacity!
I'm happy it finally worked, although the links you sent me show other players coming across the same problem in the near future after they had fixed it. If I come across the same problem again, is there a known fix besides rebooting/reinstalling?
Clearing the Origin cache can help. We have a variety of PC troubleshooting steps below if you ever need to reference them in the future.
Happy you're able to finally play, I know it took a while and can't thank you enough for your patience on this.

Can you try reinstalling both Origin and Madden NFL? Once both are installed, restart your PC and right-click on the Origin desktop shortcut to see if running as administrator gets the game to launch for you. Here are more PC troubleshooting steps below:

FYI - after a lot of back and forth, trying to figure out a fix for this (even after the full version was added to EA Play), I was finally able to get it working once customer support removed the Madden 21 TRIAL from my Origin account. Reinstalled the game via Steam and everything works fine, so far. More than a bit ridiculous but it seems to just be a handshake issue with how trials are handled between Steam and Origin atm.
