Unable to Play a Ranked Game
I am having trouble playing ranked games on Madden 17. I had the same issue with Madden 16. When I go into online head to head play, I select x to change the game type. The option to select a ranked game as the game type is unavailable. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the game but it continues to not allow me to play a ranked game. I contact EA and on multiple occasions, they could not help me with the issue. They kept asking for a screen shot but then advised me that they did not understand why i was unable to select ranked as a game option. This is on the XBOX one. Anyone have any suggestions?
Yes, you are not understanding how it works. All you need to do is select the head to head quick match option and let it find an opponent for you automatically. Those are RANKED. I've done that since release and all my games are ranked and I can go view my leaderboards anytime and see the result of my last game and my record.
The reason it will always show unranked in those custom matches is that you are not allowed to make a custom match and have it ranked. If you were, you could play with friends who would lose to you on purpose, etc.
Why no one can answer you here is beyond belief. It is a simple thing.
