Update Loop

Product: Madden NFL 21
Platform:PC

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try running the game on my PC
What happens when the bug occurs? Stuck in an update loop - UPDATE REQUIRED A required update for Madden NFL 21 MVP Edition is available. Would you like to download the update now? The game will not be playable until the update is applied. Apply the update, launch the game, the update message again. Repeat until Madden 22 released - Don't buy Madden 22.
What do you expect to see? FFS - The game to run

Had to select some options above in order to generate this, but basically cannot launch the game.

Recommended action:

See update message, Apply the update, launch the game, the update message again. Repeat until Madden 22 released - Don't buy Madden 22 spend the time banging head against the wall instead, at least then I have something to look forward to ----- stopping!

    I sorted it by

    1. Put Origin in Offline mode so that it would not check for updates,

    2. Launch Madden, don't bother trying to sign in, it wont let you.

    3. Once loaded, switched back to Origin and go back online again.

    4. Finally sign in on Madden and it seems to work.

    Just be wary of it saving to local machine rather than cloud the next time you launch the game.

    Madden 21 will not launch PC. I've been trying for a couple days now to try and get someones attention on this subject because all of the fixes do not work for me. I will click 'play' on madden 21, it will show the game launching with a black screen, and then about 5 seconds after that, the game closes and it brings me back to origin. This isn't the first time this has happened, it started a week ago for I think a day, but then an update came out and the game worked again. 2 days ago this has happened again with no fix. No matter what I do it will just not launch. I've repaired the game, gotten the microsoft c++ x64 and x86, I have updated all of my drivers and made sure windows is up to date. I paid $60 for this game and am not able to play it for now the third straight day. PLEASE help me

    Yes, my pc meets the requirements. I don't know if you read my report, but the game was working just fine before this problem started happening. The game ran pretty smooth and I never had an issue until this problem started happening. It shouldn't be a problem with my pc (it meets the requirements and game worked just fine up until a 3 days ago). PLEASE help me solve this, thank you

    So I had an EA rep call me yesterday, she took me through all the troubleshooting steps I had already done myself. Ended up getting refunded for my year of EA Play Pro, nothing worked. I'm convinced something in their latest update is what messed it up for us. My game was working fine until the latest patch. So frustrating they're acting like it our systems when it just their crap game.

    @PoolPartyPapi ive really been liking the game recently, but I guess the only option left is just to ask for a refund. I really hope they can get the game working though I've loved this years gameplay as of recently

    @EA_Barry PLEASE RESPOND SO I CAN PLAY THE GAME AND GET THIS FIXED, it happenned again yesterday. Their was an update, after the update i was able to play for about 2 hours yesterday. I try to get on today, and it is back to doing the glitch where it doesn't start. Can you guys please respond so I can play the game? Why havent you guys answered me for 4 days? I NEED HELP OR A REFUND AT THIS POINT

    I get the same thing sometimes but usually alt tabbing in and out will get the game to boot up properly. However once I am in I can only use the menu system and when I try to load into a game the game freezes.
