update the rosters dude

To EA: I bet you will just ignore this and never do it, but can you like update the rosters reflecting free agency and stuff? And like if not then you kinda suck (even more than you already do)

ok bye

Rosters have never been updated to reflect Free Agency because that takes place after the NFL season. Each Madden game reflects what took place that NFL season. Members in the community will create custom roster files with draft classes and off-season moves if you want to download those to use them though.

The FA part of the NFL is exciting for sure. If I was given the option I would want to have 2 different rosters, one being the NFL season that reflected 2021 and the other being post NFL season with roster moves. This way if I wanted to jump back in Madden 22 I can play the NFL season with those players.

This could come down to resources too. Someone has to determine the ratings for all the players and continually update the rosters. After the NFL season concludes, the work for the next season begins. The team will have to start focusing on ratings for the season going forward. Because of Madden Share, there is an option for the community members to create the moves from the FA and share it there, this way the team can focus on fresh content when features like Free Agency can be done community side.
