Upgrading a player in Franchise mode

Product: Madden NFL 22
Platform:PlayStation 5
Which console generation do you have? Sony PlayStation 5

Which mode has this happened in? Franchise Mode
Which part of the mode? Offline
What is your Franchise League Name? Irrelevant
Summarize your bug When I try to upgrade a player in franchise mode, nothing happens, I can't select any options and have to restart the game.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Test your product, seriously.
What happens when the bug occurs? I can't use the product I paid for.
What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to select a player, and then select the archetype I want to improve.

    Hi, @FELIX5539 

    What are you trying to upgrade for them, exactly? When you say you can't select the options are you able to see the options there and they aren't responding or do they not show up at all?

    For 2 months. Stop playing  Bought Madden from 1991 until 2008. Stopped playing for 14 years. Pick this up and it's a mess and embarrassing. From the gold standard of sports games to a game that doesn't even work. Recommending editing players to continue a franchise lol  ya I'm sure they're hard at work fixing it lmao

    Yes that’s correct I’ve gone the Seattle Seahawks cannot upgrade DK and also when I play a game I go against the Seahawks which makes absolute no sense. Also the players do not appear when there is a cutscene.

    After I upgrade and it goes thru game freezes won’t let me go back or advance. I’m on PS4.
