Using Origin and Steam Versions on Same PC Causes Conflict

Summarize your bug If both versions of the game are installed on the same PC, the Origin version of the game will not launch. It will instead open up the Steam login prompt. At our LAN center, we own a few copies of the Steam version and a few copies of the Origin version. The ones bought from Origin are unusable because they still ask for a Steam login. Uninstalling the Steam version of the game fixes the issue, but we require that both versions of the game be installed together.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have two accounts that own the game on different platforms (One bought on Steam, one bought on Origin). Install both versions of the game with the two different accounts. Sign out of everything. Log into the Steam-bought account on Steam and launch the game. Close and sign out of everything. Log into Origin with the Origin-bought account. Attempt to launch the game. A Steam login prompt will appear even though you did not buy the game on Steam.
What happens when the bug occurs? Cannot play the game since there is no Steam account if you bought through Origin.
What do you expect to see? I expect the Origin client to launch the Origin version of the game instead of prompting for a Steam login.
