Can anyone help I am having the same problem I was told it was the custom playbook, it happens at the end of the game with seconds left on the clock, during CFM. when it happens I either get a safety or I will have to quit the game because no men are on the field for my team

I am having the exact same problem. My team just disappears from the field and I can't continue my game. I don't expect a solution to response since no one responded to my playbook issues that I'm having. It would be nice if the game worked. I've been playing madden since '92.

Are you using a custom roster, custom playbook, and do you have an external hard drive connected to your console? Players disappearing appears to be linked to custom rosters, playbooks, or in some cases external hard drives where files are located on both the internal and external.
not using custom anything, i have completed two seasons and after each one my top receiver and qb vanished from the roster and league completely. I hadn't bought any EA stuff in a few years because I had heard that you were more concerned with roll outs than actual use and playability. It seems that is true since it appears these problems have been happening for a while and no fixes have been pushed out. Sad, you once were a really quality company and I regret buying your product now
