Why is Next Gen not being brought to PC for Madden 22?

Can anyone clarify what is gonna be missing in this "last gen" madden? In madden 21 i remember that consoles got an update that changed the movement in the game...Will we even be getting that?

I was gonna purchase a year of play pro for madden/BF but after hearing about the "last gen" news i decided to just purchase BF and skip madden this year, But if all that's gonna be missing is some cutscenes and menus...I might reconsider.

Can anyone clarify for me?, Thanks.

    @Fingrpistols The Momentum System, all new presentation features are missing, Half time adjustments and detail stats, and more specific gameplanning all aren't in the last gen version. I'm not 100% sure about that last part being very different, but from what I've seen you only see total yards in game planning in last gen and in next gen you see left, middle, or right for something like rushing yards. isn't in the last gen version. Last Gen also doesn't get the movement changes, but I have seen new animations and all of the Franchise mode stuff is basically the same from what I've seen and the scouting update is coming to all versions in September if all things run smoothly. Soon after if not, but September is the target according to the devs.

    For myself, I think the game has changed enough on last gen to warrant buying it if it comes on sale or Maybe subbing for a month or two of EA Play Pro and playing the full version of Madden 22 with that on PC (last gen version of course). If you plan on doing that, and your main mode is franchise mode, I'd wait until the scouting update, because the scouting update only works on brand new franchises according to the devs. I seriously hope that they bring next gen to PC next year on all of these games. I'd really like for them to do it before Madden 22's content cycle is over, but I'm not holding my breathe. If you have any other questions I can try and answer them, I've only played 19 hours or so lol.

      @JMEllis2020 Thanks for all the details, Hearing that we don't even get last years movement upgrade seals it for me.

      At least we have the 2k football game to look forward to next year.

        @EA_Blueberry  Still no update on this I assume? I'm sure EA has heard the "Greedy corporation" slander emails enough, not that they every bothered to listen. So I won't continue on, besides I like most others on this thread, am looking forward to when 2K really puts the hurt on Maddens profit. We just want to be given the full game, not last years. Either this gets fixed or they won't have to worry about the PC fan base much longer because they'll all jump ship, or start torrenting it. Nobody likes to pay full price for a copy & paste game.
