@Intrepid-Being the "unit" would imply they have a team actively working on previous generations of the game.
I wouldn't be so sure.
In fact, I'm actively thinking otherwise.
Whatever the case is, it's unacceptable.

Did you see that gran turismo 7 is coming to ps4? Along with God of war..and I'm not sure if they said anything about Spiderman or not.
On the Xbox side, the series s is actually quite capable if thats your minimum spec, but its usually not.
All these things are holding games back. Watch the gran turismo 7 trailer from the other day and tell me how in the world that is coming to ps4. I'm only noting that game because it was built with ps5 in mind specifically. Polygon even said it would take them 6 months to scale the cars back for ps4. Well..I guess we know why it was delayed!
Anyway, Jim is right. Money is the only thing that matters. Creative expression/design be damned.

Cyberpunk is truly what I would call a next gen experience on PC, and I expect games to be that demanding in the near future.
Problem is, I think it scared the living life out of the entire industry.
God of War 2 is coming to ps4 I mean come on man what?
Previous gen will, unfortunately, be supported until the need for more creative freedom surpasses greedy corporations' needs for every last penny.(It may be a while)
I would prefer them to start pushing the envelope(unreal 5, rtx, dx12u, etc). Some devs do this. Others like EA and 2k only improve their games if it will improve their profits.
