This is something we’re exploring for the future. We’re still early in the transition to next-gen and right now are focused on making the best, quality experience on new consoles before we look to upgrade other platforms.
I understand that your company is put under pressure by Sony and Microsoft to make the console version pristine, but you guys really gotta understand that there is a huge crowd that has moved to PC and no longer uses a console to game. (Especially when you can literally go buy a controller from a store and plug it in.) I was honestly full in on buying this game about 20 minutes ago and then realize that I was about to buy a game gutted because the intended purpose was to push players to console, maybe per contracts with those console makers??? Who knows? I don't, but I and many others really think you guys laugh in our face when you do this to an audience that just over-all wants to enjoy your game.
I gave up on Madden about 10 years ago and was going to come back, but no... I won't come back to a joke

Here I was perusing the Gamepass menu when I saw Madden 22 pop up. Oh sweet, I thought...as the game was downloading in the queue, I was greeted with a trailer titled "current-gen trailer" which made me suspicious...pause download, go to google and search up "Madden PC next gen" and am brought to this thread. *cancels download in queue*.
EA do you think I bought a $1300 graphics card so I can play PS4 games? Is that what you thought? Do you think I bought a $1300 graphics card so I can play PS5 games? No. The PC version should be THE definitive version. Why? Because it can be. Because there's no excuse for it not to be.
I won't even download and play your game for "free" (on Gamepass).
does anyone know if we are getting next gen for madden 23 on pc if not that is completely unfair

It's 2022 and wwe 2k22 had an extra year in development. PC is STILL getting the previous gen, 2013 version.
