I created a defensive left end in franchise mode. When the game starts I keep getting the Sim page and I have to keep hitting "continue". Or if it does go to the game, it is from the side view and my player is not even on the field and the game plays the down automatically. This is really frustrating because I bought this game to play it, not watch it play itself. I'm getting even more frustrated because I've been on chat 2 or 3 times for this issue and got nowhere. It seems like it's an act of congress to get EA to do anything about bugs and glitches. I've bought 3 or 4 of these Madden games, I seriously doubt I will be buying any more of them.

@artdog71 Did you create a player for a "Player" Franchise? If that's the case the computer will call the shots and if the coach decides the ball is going your way that is when you'll have a shot. If you're a rookie you won't have as many opportunities until you prove yourself.If you want to create a player and have them on your roster full time when you play all sides of the ball, you'll want to start a Coach or Owner franchise and make sure you upload the custom roster with the created player on it when the Franchise is asking you to use a custom or NFL roster. Hope that clears up any confusion.

@artdog71 did you already try to substitute your player in? if you select plays using the "by formation" option, you can substitute players. the key required for substituting players should be shown below the plays.maybe you have to go to the settings before and select "enhanced playcalling". not sure whether substituting players is possible in "slim playcalling"...hope that helps. good luck!

@Neo_Novalis Honestly I didn't even know you could do that. When I get back on I will try it and let you know if it works or not. I got so fed up I deleted the player but I'll make another one.The only thing is when I first got the game everything worked just fine. It's after the updates all this stuff started. I will give your solution a try though. Thanks for the help.

Hey, just created a new LE and I'm sorry to say that I tried what you suggested but it didn't work. Thanks for trying anyway. I think I'm pretty much done giving EA money for screwed up games.

@EA_Blueberry Not exactly what is going on but thanks for the reply. The game only does this on any player I create for the defensive line. It doesn't do it for any player created for another position.

Won't let my created player play in games.

@EA_Blueberry Hey I uploaded a video to YouTube so you can see what is going on. It is easier than trying to describe it. Only problem is it's not very good quality because YouTube wouldn't upload it till I really compressed it down. Hopefully this will get to someone who can fix it. Are you playing a Player, Coach, or Owner Franchise though? A Player Franchise vs. a Coach/Owner has a significant difference on the way you play that mode.

Okay this makes sense. The amount of game time you're able to play is determined by the team's needs and where you are on the depth chart. It's possible as a DE you'll get to play more game time on a different team compared to another. If you're trying to work your way into the starting lineup when the team has some veterans/superstars, you won't likely get much time unless you get a sack on the limited opportunities you have.

If you want to play every down, play Coach or Owner Franchise and upload your created player to a roster in which you'll use for that Franchise. This is not a bug.

@EA_Blueberry A defensive tackle. Basically only the defensive line. It does not do this with any other position you create a player.
Also, I know the difference between player and coach/owner mode and I'm also intelligent enough to know when something is wrong with the freaking game.
