Would this be possible?

Hello,

I'm not sure where to direct this suggestion but I was wondering, as an alternative short term fix if/when the pandemic cancels a portion or all of the NFL season (college football too), if Madden could conduct a weekly virtual season and those results fed into participating fantasy channels like nfl.com/fantasy, cbssports/fantasy, etc... that way the fantasy season could continue on. Each week EA (or whomever) would run each weeks game as scheduled (Thursday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday) all still based on ET/EST, as simulations. While the games don't actually count toward anything, if the season isn't on then it doesn't really matter. There can be a first ever EA Sports Virtual Super Bowl winner and who knows, it could actually be a team like the Lions. Lol. Anyway, the game's players would still generate stats and those stats can be fed into each site's fantasy platforms so fantasy leagues around the world could still be held....virtually. You could partner with NFL Network and ESPN and run those very same games live on their networks too.

@Sweathogs1 I had these same thoughts! The NHL team did it for the NHL season when it was cancelled. No word on whether the team has any intentions to implement this in the event of a cancellation but we've shared these thoughts with them.

Let's hope the NFL season doesn't get cancelled though. It's nice to have football back.
