@peeze31So if they were to hypothetically have permission to promote coin selling then that would be setting up their own user base to suffer suspensions/bans. Hmmm when you put it that way it sounds like the company would be operating outside of the scope of their own TOS’s... which by definition would be committing an fact of Fraud... which is both Criminally and civilly illegal. How strange lol
- 5 years ago@peeze31 It is even in their terms of service see the following from EA TOS:
Sell, buy, trade or otherwise transfer or offer to transfer your EA Account, any personal access to EA Services, or any EA Content associated with your EA Account, including EA Virtual Currency and other Entitlements, either within an EA Service or on a third-party website, or in connection with any out-of-game transaction,
(right here)
unless expressly authorized by EA.- 5 years ago@BigJuego You are 100% correct but they’ve also come out on record saying they do not and will not give that authorization. It was a big thing last year. So while they do have the ability to do it I’m pretty sure that provision is to simply cover them when it comes to their giveaways since that falls under that scope as well
- 5 years ago@agm1989 How can EA deny that they do not sell coins when they allow these YouTubers to break their TOS everyday that they then turn around and ban the casual player for. How do these people on YouTube get to operate not get banned for doing so. The fact of the matter is EA is running these sites that are being promoted that is why TOS is not enforced in them.
