I have the same issue where the new xBox controller shows up as two controllers.  I can't start a game in exhibition because the ghost controller moves to the other side when I ready up.  The game gets stuck waiting on the ghost controller to start.  Is there a fix for this?

The blue controller is the only one connected to the PC.  The red controller shows up anytime I use the xBox Series X controller via bluetooth.  If I connect the series X controller via USB-C, it works fine.  

What do I need to do to fix this?  I am using Origin and I have the same issues on multiple PCs.  My xBox Elite controller works fine.

@m_kovo Can you try updating or removing the device from Device Manager and then reconnecting to see if this still happens?

    This solution does not work.  This is a massive problem, it's been in place since Madden 21 and they clearly have no idea it exists let alone how to fix it.

    Spoiler alert: still present in Madden 22 with zero fix
