Music in Mobile will not stay turned off

All settings for music in preferences are off. Music starts playing whenever it wants. Close app out and come back in music is off. Play for sometimes 2 mins other times 2 hrs and bang music comes on.. close and open app music is off.. anyone know a solution? Sucks
