I have tried selling 100 overall guys for weeks for as little as 100 coins and no one bids, therefore telling me no one can see my auctions for these players. I have a friend who plays and I verified my suspicion with him by posting an auction and he couldn't see it. I've attached a screenshot of my expiring auctions.

@nictator23 That's not a bug, this is by design. There are minimum bid amounts for each type of item depending on what tier they are. There was a thread on this for Madden Mobile 20 here where I posted a chart: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Madden-NFL-Mobile/Auction-Joe-Burrow/td-p/9024500/page/2 This explanation makes sense and I was not aware of the minimum bid limits. Thank you for providing the clarification. I do have a follow up question: what is the purpose of this rule? Is EA trying to dictate the market within the auction house? I have tried to sell these guys with starting bids ranging from 100 coins (now understanding why that didn't work) to something more inline with other auctions for the same player. During the attempts, the player(s) I tried to sell didn't show up in the auction house. My screenshots showing 100 coin starting bids were only from 1 attempt.
I also saw no one was biding on the same players who were visible in the auction house which leads me to believe that any attempt to regulate the market is having negative effects. ie: players are over valued by the auction house. Can you please clarify?
@nictator23 This version is now obselete. They dropped the 2021 Mobile game this week so there probably won’t be anybody bidding in the Pat Mahomes app. Lamar Jackson is now the cover for 2021. As for you not seeing your cards, they did that a couple of seasons ago when we were passing coins to friends and league members by creating unique Buy Now prices in order to positively identify which card would pass the coins. There were rampant auction house issues over the years and they’ve made drastic sweeping changes after each one of them.
one year there was a glitch/hack that instead of consuming the coins you used to buy or win an auction, they added back to your stack in a weird mathematical way. Many quickly capitalized and maxed out to 99,999,999,999 coins. They shut the whole game down for three days to try and fix it. I tested it by keeping a few sold cards in My Auctions and ended up being able to keep 20m more coins after they patched the glitch.
you used to be able to figure out which server your auction house was on by using a specific silver card and looking for 111,111 or 222,222 or 333,333, etc which would help you sell to friends and league members. That wasn’t full-proof either.
we had another one where the rumor was Chinese bots were auto-buying and reposting lower cards used for sets and coin farming. Whenever a needed card popped up it was bought immediately.
they used to take the game down every morning at like 9am for maintenance. If you timed it right, you could win auctions during the down time for much lower prices.
lots of history with the auction house, these are just some of the memories.
Yeah, I have been dabbling with the new 21 version this week. I was just trying to finally solve the issue that's been bugging me for over a month. It's taken so long to get anywhere, the whole situation is moot now anyways. I'm sure I won't sell anyone big anymore on the old version but I'll continue to play it since I love my roster.
Lots of issues with the action house over the years, I remember some of them myself. The bottom line is that there's still room for improvement. EA can add all the bells and whistles to the game they want but it won't matter if the game isn't clean and fluid. Bugs are the reason why I took a break from playing a few years ago.
Here's to hoping the game runs smoothly this year!
