this occured this morning for me too. I got into it when i woke up but there was no live events so i waited for my first break at work about 3 hrs later and it does the load screen, then crashes to my home screen.
at least now i know its not just me and my phone and its a game glitch...

Same here. Come on EA, get your act together. Your trouble shooting info says:
"If I delete the game from my device will my progress be saved?
Yes! Your progress is saved throughout normal play. If you need to delete the game, your progress will be continued where you left off once you re-install the game."
However, there are tons of posts to the contrary. I now have my account linked to Facebook, but I'm still too stressed to try reinstalling. I even waited an hour to talk to a representative in chat the last time this happened and they insisted they were 100% sure that I wouldn't lose my team and progress if I reinstalled, despite me repeatedly telling them that I wasn't linked to Facebook at the time. I kept asking and clarifying, until the rep said not to reinstall and just wait for an update because if you aren't linked to Facebook all of your data is saved on your device.
Could you please at least push out an update for all of us that are affected, so we can get back to our Madden addiction?
