Re: Oops... unknown error with google play account, I've tried everything.

I have the same problem since more than a month ago, I even received my recovery code from EA help guys, but I can´t sign in with guest account or Facebook, the game “almost” enter, but then the Woops message pops up…

Now that the game is returning to its former self and is a lot more enjoyable, I cant sign in ☹

    I will definitely let the others know of my outcome(and steps taken) whether good or bad. My case is currently still open, it has now been escalated to experts who communicate with the studio.

    So far, level 1 and specialists were unable to solve the issue. I'm pretty sure my ticket is at level 3-ish support right now.

    OK Barry I am 100% with these other players as I have spent over 200 dollars on the game and now am missing what seems to be to me the high point of the season with huge rewards but no one seems to be able to help and you aren't doing much either. For all the name EA, I don't know how they can get away with pulling the, "well, maybe the next person can help you. And I do want to chime in on the previous hypothetical comment of where do we go from here. Really made me think.

    I haven’t been able to play since December 10th. My case originally escalated on the 12th. I waited patiently for weeks with no response. On Jan 2nd I requested a call to get a status update. I was reassured that my case was in progress. On Jan 16th, I found the case had been closed. No reason. No notification. I had to call to have my case reopened and re-escalated. I was told it may have been caused by my 2nd call. I don’t know if that had anything to do with it or not. Anyways, the moral of the story is what the help guy suggested:

    Open a new case if you want an update regarding the case status. 

    But regarding the original issue:

    My app closed in a manner similar to the OP, but I was preparing for H2H matches (so, changing my lineup or locker items) when the spinner appeared. I’ve tried everything as the OP to fix it. Even tried on a device that had never had madden installed on it. Unlike the OP I had a screenshot of my UID, but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. I also play on iOS devices and my account is linked to Game Center.

    No solution exists for this issue. If you have it, consider your account toast.

    It would have been nice to have known about the “resume” issue before I had done it 3 or 4 times. In fact, the help guy (16 Jan) was the first to mention it. And it didn’t appear in an official email until the response from creating my 2nd case (31 Jan).

    But I have to say I have more hope for a resolution than I did a week ago.

    Not sure why my post now has a check mark by it.... as there is no current solution in this entire post regarding the account login issue multiple people are having.

    Well it happens when EA help is on charge, my problem has 2 months without a solution and EA is not answering my emails any longer, my case is still "in progress".

    One last bump to the top before I give up. It's a shame EA hold the exclusive rights to the NFL franchise, without competition the quality of products suffers.

    Im already playing into a new account, lost 3 months waiting for a solution...
  • Now it says I need an update but when I try to update it says my device isnt compatible??? Tried to reinstall and now I cant even dowload it. Happened on 2 different devices... EA is whacked!!!
