- Oh, wait. I just saw the part about using 2 other different devices and having the same problem. Now I'm thinking it's a problem with our specific accounts... I dont know. But I do know that it's not widespread so likely we are just gonna have to deal with it. It's so annoying that I barely play Overdrive at all now. And I actually like overdrive
@thegatorfan122 hey after hours and hours of trying different things.. On all three devices my linked cloud based account has issues..
I logged out on all devices and just played using the local guest account... While doing so, I had absolutely Zero issues. The game operated as it should in all facets..
Can you try this and let me know if it's the same for you?
I express my concerns and the customer support wants me to throw away years worth of achievements, logos, all time leader board ranking, etc .. For.compensation?
- Whoa, wait... What? That sounds really sketchy. If I were to do something like that I would expect everything to go back the way it was. Including my legacy stats. There should be a better way. I don't want to do that.
@thegatorfan122 thats exactly how I felt about the situation... And the rep, his supervisor, and the manager above them said I had to make the decision right then and there. The offer wouldn't stand beyond our conversation.

- I have my account linked to both Facebook and my Google account.
I wonder if I unlink it from my Google account.. Play a little bit, then relink it if that my solve a corrupt save issue.
Does that sound logical? @EA_David @EA_Blueberry? It did, I tried both already I tried even just linking it to my device only.
I know.. It sucks.. Because I spent about $250 this month alone because of the spotlights...that doesn't include the casual spending throughout the season for the promo bundles.during holidays. For the past four years I've maintained a top 50 ranking for the season.. This year top 25.
It's not fair.
The problem.affects the app start up, and specifically anything.related to overdrive.
Once in the game, my file isn't corrupted to the point where I can't do events and.league stuff... But anything overdrive...? Forget about it...
- I don't have the problem with the start up. And I'm not disconnecting from overdrive matches and losing.
I just simply freeze completely when the last point is scored in a overdrive match. I have just resigned myself to having to FC and restart everytime I play Overdrive. Which makes me not want to play Overdrive very much, which sucks because I'm one of the few guys left who actually like to play Overdrive.. Lol That's how it started for me.
It just got progressively worse this past week.
Pretty Damn annoying if you ask me..
- I don't know if I can deal with it getting worse. After this major fail they called Easter I have lost a lot of my normal zeal for the game.

why hasnt anyone from EA addressed this issue or even acknowledged it?
No one from their corporation has even given the slightest response here..

When I turn off my WiFi and just use data it doesn’t freeze as often. It’s def a WiFi issue and EA can fix it on their end
- I hate to disagree with you bro. Because I have played on mobile data a lot and mine still freezes every single time. No matter what.
I'm starting to wonder if someone somehow introduced malicious code into the game on purpose. Because this problem started off slow with only a handful of people affected and now it's starting to spread everywhere and it's getting worse.

Absolutely. I'm glad I didn't pull the trigger and believe it was just my account and a corrupted save file.
I get to keep my team, history, etc.. And not get stuck with only those 6 All madden packs.
Any chance my account or tickets, or whatever it is that gave you the information regarding what tech support wanted to offer me, be modified to reflect that my gripes wasnt account related? Or was it?
I shoulda said most of the time it won’t freeze up but yes still does on data... just not as often
This was what the EA Help "specialists" just sent me.
These guys at ea help do not even know what is going on with this game and they are a big reason why people keep quitting
I'm about to be one of them.
I can't keep playing under these conditions and spending money on a company that could care less.
I'll have to find something else to do with my time and money.

- That was the response I got after several correspondence I had with EA help from the ticket that I put in about this issue.
They pretty much told me that there was nothing that they could do. Funny thing is they sent this to me after the fix came out and they had no idea. Yeah, @thegatorfan122 pretty ridiculous..
Friday was good.. After the fix was deployed, tree gave ran well for overdrive. There was a minor freeze at the end, but it only lasted about 5-10 seconds or so..
All today (saturday), overdrive was okay like Friday was..
Start up, however, was worse.
Go to open the app after a few hours of not using it, it would freeze and lock up in a much worse way than it's been. Would take a couple minutes to get from the loading screen to the main menu.

Yeah, the fix that was deployed didn't last long.
Overdrive freezing is back.
The same exact problem as before again.. Maybe even a little worse.
Pretty sure it has something to do with the broken DDA system.
I'd also like to retract my pressing of the "problem solved" button the other day. Is this possible?
