Asari adept too squishy

Any way to beef up the asari adept? I can't play her above silver because any time she has to run away from trouble she dies before I get 3 steps. I've leveled her up max and this is still a problem. If she could just escape with enough health it would make a huge difference.

I've been just fine on golds with my asari adept?  You really do have to watch the incoming damage and use cover much more, of course you do, but that is no different for any of the biotics.. even the biotic cannon that is the kineticist can get torn a new smile if they don't watch themselves.

I don't think it needs beefing up for survivability, i just think you need to adjust how you play.  You may have 'owned' the score tables on bronze and silver, but gold and above takes a different way to play, and if you want to see evidence of good playstyles, there is plenty of youtube vids showing the asari adept working well on gold.. even more so now with the veteran ranks and weapon variants out there.

I play the Asari duelist .   Not the strongest of gold viable classes, but if played right, you can adapt right into a gold and do very well.   When i charge i get full shields back, but i know that if i don't use backlash and cover properly i'll get eaten up.. but using cover is vital for all classes on gold.. so running in with your annihilation field and zapping them with your biotic detonations will not kill them instantly, and that is where your team comes in.  Good team play is vital in gold and above.. and there is no real room for lone hunters.. otherwise i'd be out there on my duelist doing just that.

^ Hammered the the nail with that reply. My asari Sentinal is the first character I got to lvl 20 and I spec the goddess for backlash and melee maxed and I can manage being a very decent asset to a gold team easy especially with a decent weapon for supressing fire.
Throw and Energy drain is the ideal combo power exloder power damage for all the sentinals, but I wanted to use her for her more unique uncommon ability backlash...
Also there is a high point on Zero I use to distract enemy fire from allies using backlash to protect myself. < this makes for some funny recordings sometimes xD

I really think its that 'oh S*' 'oh S*' moment when you dive in as a biotic and discover that gold level mobs are just taking much more damage in order to put them down.

This to a certain extent can be balanced a bit more in your favour with suitable boosters, but using your environment and playing well with the rest of the team is the #1 thing you should be doing most.. and if say on a map like fb:zero you notice the team is up at the top end of the map guarding the corner, you can be pretty sure that the best thing you can do as a team mate is not stray too far from them.   grab the sneak kills by all means, but going lone wolf will just get you dead.. and an infiltrator/avenger/agent with stealth is going to protect the numbers.. not the lone wolf if the area where the 3 are is packed up with mobs.  its a judgement call for the stealther sometimes.. and losing the stealthers dps from a choke point can be make or break if they are having to run to the far end of the map to revive someone who just WON'T play the team game.

Not saying you play like this, no no no.. not at all, but if i had an MP credit for every time I had a lone wolf get knocked down by a pack of mobs, i'd be awash with N7 cards 😉

Also speaking of stealthers, if you get a good player paired with you that has stealth grid, then getting away with little damage once you've dropped your biotic detonations would be very simple indeed.  The stealth grid does have power cell charge type limitations though, so just know its not a cooldown thing.

I've found on my more squishy classes, that once enemy aggro is focused on a team mate, you can quite often zap in, drop the payload then be out again before they turn to see who the heck did it 🙂

Lol, oh man, Asari Adept can be a bit squishy.....yeah, has to be otherwise she would be the number one unit for 99% of the players out there.  I usually rock her every night on Gold, and have even taken her to Platinum successfully with a good team.  I don't usually use ANY boosters for gold, some revives or Cobras but no boosters.  I do use them on Platinum, the few times I have gone there, but I really don't think I have the guns for that level usually.

It is a fairly simple build I am using, Annilation lifts them primes them, then blow them up with Throw(6th with speed and combo bonuses) Lance is I think level 3, Barrier skill, is maxed and gives 15% shields back on Biotic kills, Main class skill sits at level 5.  She runs with Disciple(Siphon) and a Carnfex(explosion one, brain fart can't remember name)heavy pistol.  I am usually top 2 on almost all missions, unless I get a really really good team in the run.  I generally play her like a vanguard running all the time, only hitting cover when I have too, and comboing the heck out of everything.

Yeah, you do have to be mindful of her shields, but honestly, if she was any stronger with them, she would just about be unstoppable.  If you have a maxed Asari adept, and she is bad, then either you didn't spec her right, or you just don't understand(or are comfortable with) how to play her.  True, she isn't for everyone, as many people wouldn't like the play with 90% power use and only 10% guns(use Disciple siphon to help top health when you get opportunity).
