Can't Import ME1 game into ME2 (PC- Origin Download)

I own the download Trilogy version of the game, bought from Amazon and launched through Origin.  I'm playing on a Windows Vista.

I'm trying to import my Mass Effect 1 save into ME2. However, there's no option for configuration on the main game menu or in Origin itself that I've seen.

I also tried to import in manually.  I went to  (Username)>Documents>BioWare>Mass Effect. However, the only files listed are 'Config' and 'Logs' with no 'Save' file.

 Neither file contains anything mentioning saves.

How do I proceed from here? This game isn't worth it if I can't import.

    Nevermind- figured out I needed to open everything on an admin account. The save file doens't appear on my standard user account, for whatever reason. As an admin, standard solution works.

    Suppose I shoulda learned my lesson about admin rights with this series already.
