Can't log to play Mass Effect 3 in XBOX ONE

Every time I resume the single player campaign ME3 tries to log to EA.

Among other things the game checks for additional downloadable content, of which there has been none in years.

Before I had to try log in multiple times, taking between 5 to 20 minutes to finally be able to play.

The last couple of days the game hangs forever checking for the aforementioned content and I can't play.

I bought a physical copy of the ME trilogy for 360, why would I have to be required to log to EA at all in order to be able to use it locally?

    Thank you for the post, it certainly sounds like some odd behaviour. Can you try going offline and see if this has any effect?

    Found the solution a few days ago. I share it here in case anyone has this very anticlimactic problem. 

    There is an EA help page about it on the XB360, useful for the XBO:

    Having the XBO be offline at the moment of launching ME3 solves the problem. The game doesn't hangs trying & failing to connect.

    The EA help page suggests to activate auto log-in to EA Origin & allow gameplay feedback to stop the problem from repeating.

    What I have preferred to do is keep my XBO offline until I finish playing the game.
