Looks like there is no fix to the multiplayer random crash... I would assume a game breaking bug had priority over game balancing...

Game crashed but you can continue with your progress is not a gamebreaking bug.
Not even if you can't resume an ongoing repeatable session. The key is the word "repeatable".
If a game crash during a match would cause inability to play MMO ever again, now that would be gamebreaking.

Random crashes that block any progression in multiplayer, and by random I mean crashes that occur every 2/3 missions is a HUGE gamebreaking matter...
What you just said is irrelevant...
I DO hope they will fix it soon, I myself stoped to play the game and not willing to spend a single $ in this game cause of this bug.
I knew ME:A is more a great solo game than a multiplayer game, but I loved ME3 multiplayer, hoped ME:A would be better, it's a little bit, but not enough yet.
Multiplayer in ME:3 had influence over the solo game, ME:A multiplayer is useless for solo game, meaning you don't have to play it AT ALL.
I know lot of people spent money in ME:3 to get the better stuff quickly, I bet EA is counting on this for ME:A, but with a broken multiplayer game... no more money for them !
Balancing weapons was a good choice cause it was needed, but fixing all these crashes was needed more !
I do hope they'll change the loot crate rewards too... having only 1 weapon per crate and the rest consummable in them is a real pain...
ME:3 loot crate rewards were more reliable and relevant. - Anonymous9 years ago

Do you understand that this crash happens randomly in all platforms, it happens a lot someone people report (myself included) around 50% of multiplayer games end up in a crash.
Its a game breaking bug because it halts progression. You get no EXP or Credits unless you finish the game even if you end failing the mission you are not wasting your time.
Spending between 10-15 min on a gold mission for it to crash on the last wave is a waste of time. Even if you were getting EXP and credits when you crash, its a game breaking bug. The game should not be crashing as simple as that, this kind of issues should have priority over everything else. - 9 years ago
Actually there is mention of the mp crashing bug. Just not in this thread. It's here. Third paragraph https://www.masseffect.com/news/the-journey-ahead?sf53509859=1

What?! Having the game freeze or disappear, and losing your hard-earned boosters, is absolutely a gamebreaking bug! Multiplayer becomes completely unenjoyable having to worry about such an issue, and it should have the highest fix priority.

No mention of the gamebreaking datapad bug on the mission "Search for the lost Remnant Drive." Very disappointing. I'm stuck at ~62% completion of the story and can until this is fixed! I am not the only one. Is this how you treat your fans Bioware? Silence in the bug forums... barren patch notes...

The search for the remnant drive core bug is still a problem. Some dialogue repeated and I could scan the crate again, but the datapad remained uniteractable in any way.
This is a pretty big bug not to fix in this patch.
