[EA app] Can't Install Mass Effect 3

Okay!
So it isn't the ideal fix that I was looking for, but the game is installed and I was able to connect to the multiplayer so I am THRILLED.
I don't know how I never thought of it before now or ran across a suggestion to try it, but I tried to reinstall the game on my windows drive instead of my game drive. (so C: instead of E: )
The game installed fine and all of the DLC kind of worked. The From Ashes DLC completed successfully, and then somehow failed at the end of the process even though it was listed in the 'completed downloads' section. I just cancelled that failure, so far everything works fine though.
I hope this helps someone else, though I still wish I would've been able to keep it on the same drive with all of my other games.
Unfortunately my wife is still receiving the same error despite having gone through all of the steps I took to reach my solution. Her PC has the exact same specs as mine. Why can't anything be simple?
I'll post her DxDiag/DISM/InstallLog stuff in just a bit after she finishes up what she's doing.
Alright here is all the info from her side. Her DISM process yielded some errors that were then corrected, so I'm trying the installation again for her now.
Please upload the "DirectX.log" from under "C:\Windows" a well.

After this log is normal installed.
Did you deleted all *.CAB files from "...\Mass Effect 3\__Installer\directx\redist" (except "DSETUP.dll, dsetup32.dll, and DXSETUP.exe) and reinstalled DXSETUP.exe on this machine as well?If that is also not working, try to install the "DirectX End-User Runtime" from here.
I've done the .cab deletion a few times on her machine, as well as all of the other steps I tried before solving my own issue.
I will try the Runtime installation here shortly.
Thank you, by the way, for sticking with this. The wife makes up a quarter of our usual squad so it feels wrong when the rest of us are playing it while she can't.
