Sorry I should have elaborated a bit more.
I was playing ME:A and couldn't access my apex missions so I saved and quit. When I tried to restart the game it gave me a warning that said my cloud data was corrupt and to play from the same device I last played from.
So I did that and the game basically opened like I'd never opened the game before. Making me set gamma and everything. I tried a few more times. I ran both the ME:A shortcut and EA App in administrative mode and neither of those options helped. I cleaned and repaired both EA App and ME:A (respectively) and it didn't work.
The thing is I can go to my %userprofile% file payh and I see the most recent save file locally on my computer. For some reason my game isn't picking up on that and now every time I open it it's like the first time. I even started a new game and quit to see if that would make a save state for it to latch onto, but it still opened like it was the first time. Interestingly enough I havent gotten an error message since the first one it just doesn't recognize any saves.
My question is, is there is a way to override the cloud and pull from the local files that I can clearly see exist?
First, make a backup of your Save folder.
The game is always loading the local save files.
The cloud is just transferrin save files from the cloud into your local save file folder, the files in the cloud are never used in game.
Your save location should be: "C:\Users\>your user name<\Bioware\Mass Effect Andromeda\Save"
Is that correct?
