Sniper rifles are overpowered.
Currently I'd say that sniper rifles in general are too overpowered. Sure, I agree that it's fun to use them and can get those annoying heavy enemies fast, but when you want to try something new, say pistols or shotguns and your whole team is carrying nothing but sniper rifles, you will know you're useless except as a bullet sponge and combowise. And this happens most of the random groups. During past weeks, I have not seen team without at least 2/4 using snipers while the third might been vanguard or so they go with shotgun
Some weapons are nearly useless and some are too useful.
I believe 1.05 tried to balance this if I'm right, but Vanguisher and Equalizer still dominates most of the games. Of course they should be better from any common weapons or so, but lack of diversity kills the multiplayer fast I think. Maybe add some juice to Venom shotgun for example or other rarely used / difficult to use weapons? And bring back assault rifles somehow making them more relevant
I agree with you wholeheartedly about assault rifles. the bullet hoses like the cyclone and the reverent seen to work decent , but the halberd and the mattock both lack dps. Oh and the recoil on the Valkyrie is so terrible that even with a stock, it still jiggles all over the place.
