@Neeki81 It depends on the player. I consistently keep topfragging with Asari Adept and Talon/Sidewinder on Gold by a difference of at least 5k even with a team of snipers.
@Tuinbonen that honestly just speaks to the amount the asari adept needs to be nerfed. she really is the chun-li of the game, i can kill anyones score with her and thats just wrong (even the bunnyman and doctor aids).
though honestly i thought this thread would relate to apex RATING, not the useless missions that are just a treadmill of tedium.
Not everyone is equally skilled, sniper rifles give a non-skilled player like myself a way to actually contribute to the team on silver. Have played 3 gold matches in total and passed them all but it just wasn´t the blast I was hoping for, gold feels more like work than fun.
I don´t feel snipers should be nerfed, it´s more of getting other guns a better value if people wish to see more variety.
A way to actually improve everyone´s game is to make range matter, anyone using the Vanquisher as a shotgun? I know I am and it works better than most actual shotguns apart from maybe 3 or 4.
Snipers should do reduced damage the closer your target is to you and the other guns modified to work at their intended ranges. Shotguns are already working that way but that´s due to spread.
@verkhon maybe time to find a new hobby? i know its mean, and it sucks but you cant simply dumb down the games until they are easy enough for the least skilled players to play.. it screws the entire rest of the world. the guns DEFINITELY need adjusting, but alot of people i have played gold with absolutely did not belong there nomatter what kind of weapon they are using. if all you can contribute is living in your scope you are just wasting space, somebody who will actually complete objectives AND get kills could be occupying. a few other things that get people put on my ignore list? not being willing to use missiles, joining gold with an apex under 1k on a level 6 character, ignoring objectives (or dog piling on point a for example because they cant hold their own on b or c), dying every 30-45 seconds (and then ofcourse staying down), doing ANYTHING stupid on their mic, and lastly not readying up for 5+min.
its a fact of life, you get old, your body betrays you, and your hair turns grey. you just have to stick to bethesDUH games and such (you know the ones made for people who suck at videogames) if you want to continue gaming. its not the developers job to deliver a game EVERYONE can play, its their job to deliver the game they envisioned (and i shutter to think they envisioned this broken POS).
@Tuinbonen yea if you apply yourself at all with that class you dominate. the insurgent is also a monster if theres nobody playing that class. the worst part is NEITHER of those are n7 classes!
I could consistantly score AT LEAST 18.5k a gold match and I switch weapons whether they are bad or not, AND characters almost every time I play. Also, I don't even play adept I have her at level 6 lmao or have ever used the talon actually. Normally whenever I, now very rarely, hop on to play I'll get on some random character just to level them. Even when I first got my god awful valkyrie at level 1 in gold I scored about 21k I recall correctly. If you want to score, move around a lot, kill high value targets (if you can down them quick), etc. I have literally no idea what people are complaining about here.
My biggest gripes are the teleporting fiend and fiend grabs becoming ridiculous executions, crashing, and connection issues. They also need to release an update. I haven't actually played more than one match in the past couple weeks. I still log in from time to time for strike team and equipment, but that is it.
As an example last time I can remember playing a very low character in Gold was the Asari Sentinel level 3 rank X, I brought the indra with me and got 20k points give or take, and that is just on the top of my head. You can go in with no upgraded skills whatsoever, rather barely upgraded, a half decent weapon and do well. I use Indra as an AR btw lol, even though it is a sniper (run and gun). :eahigh_file:
@MeinChurro heh, that could also say alot about the people you were playing with too though. its easy to get a high score when the rest of the team completely sucks. i have a couple friends i play with and we are constantly trying to one up eachother (friendly competition mind you, not being d-bags and getting one another killed or not rezing or anything). i definitely feel like a big old pansy breaking out that adept, id much rather beat them as the duelist or just about anything.
